A good word from the field...

"Those of you called to intercede for missionaries and completion of the Great Commission (i.e. every born again believer), I want to give you a little insight and prompt today.

Because of Revelation 12:12, the spiritual warfare that missionaries endure is much stronger and more intensive than what the average believer faces–including those in ministry amoung reached peoples. I know this from living in both worlds.

Warfare against missionaries is strong. It is persistent. It is creative and strategic. It is EXPECTED. Amoung seasoned missionaries, it is not scary or shocking, but it hinders and delays us just the same.

When you pray for us, please pray for our wisdom in the midst of warfare, our firm stance on the Rock of Jesus and in His calling, and that God puts the Devil to an open shame, allowing us to push forward and prevail.

There is a 'Body of Christ,' yes, and every member counts and every role is important. Yet I believe that the intercessors will be the heros of heaven amoung the redeemed of Jesus–the REAL HERO! Thankfully, we can all pray, so you need not be left out! You just have to press in and do it.
