Our passion...

Our team works with passion to complete the Great Commission. Over 2.5 billion people on earth still live in oppressive darkness, without God and without hope. No one has yet given them the message of the amazing life and freedom that Jesus provided by the Cross. Out of this 2.5 billion, about 70,000 of them will die today, never having heard the good news about Jesus even once in their lives. Not once! Can you imagine?! This cannot be allowed to continue. We must GO to them!

The opportunity...

We live and work in Brazil. Right now Brazil is exploding with Christians called of God to take the message of Jesus to the those who have never heard! They are willing...no, they are eager to go into the hardest and darkest mission fields remaining! Yet for many Brazilian pastors and churches, sending out missionaries is new territory. Many are asking for help in preparing and sending missionaries.

Our response...

1. We coach new missionaries in the process of preparing for missions and GOING.

God helped us custom design a process of coaching new missionaries in the process of discovering His will and walking it out. Using a weekly small group format–the Called to GO! groups are the heart of our ministry. The groups are not a place where we teach formal classes, such as evangelism or church planting, but it's in the groups that we discover God's specific path for each one, and prepare the heart for a life-time of successful missionary service. If the heart is not prepared, all other training will fail.

2. We coach pastors and churches in this process of SENDING missionaries.

One on one, in small groups, and in larger training events, we equip the church to do an excellent job of sending workers into the harvest. We teach all the basics that the SENDING church will need: from mission strategy to missionary care; from funding the work to all of the home base logistics that enable a missionary to thrive and bear much fruit for Jesus!

3. We provide formal training for missionaries

By using the Perspectives course from Frontier Ventures, and by invitation in various Bible schools, mission training schools, and seminaries.

Will you pray? The more we learn about prayer, the more convinced we are that we must have it to succeed in God's plans. Odd, isn't it? If they are God's plans, we might think that He would empower and perform them with or without us. But it isn't so. God longs for us to be partners with Him in His "family business." He longs for us to join our hearts to His; to understand and see the need; to wrestle and fight for what is good and right. Thus, He waits for us to join Him. Regarding missionary statistics such as “2.5 billion who haven’t heard” and “70,000 who will die today”...

If you work in the area of missionary statistics (or statistics in general), you know that almost constant study and modification are necessary. Both of these numbers are educated guesses. We feel they are very close to the actual truth, because a LOT of research goes into this, but it still can’t be tacked down to an exact number. Census data in developed countries is not 100% accurate. In some countries, census data is nonexistent. This effects both of these numbers.

Now think about this: whether the number who die each day is 60,000, or 90,000, or whether the number who haven’t heard is 2.2 or 2.9 billion (the extreme low and high end possibilities), our “marching orders” are still clear. Right? Jesus asked us to take the Good News to everybody, and we need to do that. It’s time to get more aggressive.

This much is certain: world population is increasing, therefore the daily mortality rate is also going up. BUT, the number of unreached people groups is going down, and the “missionary task” (as defined by Paul in Romans 15) is getting smaller! Praise to Jesus, the Lamb that was slain, for helping us make The Way of salvation available to all!!!
